Our Story
Founded in 2025, RG Venture Studio is the natural evolution of our work at Revenue Generation LLC, where we spent years building and perfecting bespoke commercial analytics tools for the hospitality sector.

Through that journey, we discovered a bigger opportunity: to take the insights, technology, and proven successes we developed for hotels and event spaces and expand them across the broader hospitality landscape. Today, RG Venture Studio is focused on creating innovative, technology-driven solutions that empower hotels, event venues, restaurants, and other hospitality businesses to unlock new levels of commercial performance.

Huw connects business, product, and technology strategy to ensure every innovation at RG Venture Studio delivers measurable commercial impact. With more than a decade of experience advancing innovation in hospitality technology and a rare blend of business and technical acumen, he helps shape the company’s business and product strategies and determines its technology strategy while leading engineering, AI/ML, and data systems. His experience spans the full business lifecycle, from bootstrapped startup creation and roll-up-driven SaaS growth to private-equity buy-and-hold value investment. Previously, Huw held senior roles in hospitality technology including AI Product Manager at Valsoft and Senior Data Scientist at Cendyn, and he continues to consult across industries on AI and data science applications. He also serves on Whistler’s Smart Tourism Committee and Technology Subcommittee.
Timothy Wiersma is the CEO of Revenue Generation and RG Venture Studio, where he leads international initiatives focused on revenue strategy, commercial analytics, innovation, and sustainable growth in the hospitality sector. With over two decades of executive leadership experience, he has spearheaded revenue management for global portfolios at Host Hotels & Resorts, TPG Hospitality, and Westmont Hospitality. Tim has partnered with many of the world’s most prestigious brands—including Marriott, Westin, Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton, InterContinental, Wyndham, and Sheraton—and served as Chair of HSMAI’s Revenue Optimization Advisory Board. Renowned for his forward-thinking, analytics-driven strategies, he continues to shape the future of revenue management by delivering measurable results and long-term value for hotel owners, investors, and operators worldwide.
Daniel Skodol is a seasoned executive with over two decades of expertise in revenue management, data science, and analytics, driving transformative strategies across hospitality, gaming, multifamily housing, and aviation. Currently Vice President of Data Science and Analytics at Revenue Generation, he previously held executive roles at Inspirato, Cendyn, and The Rainmaker Group, where he spearheaded product innovation, business intelligence, and advanced analytics for global hospitality brands. Earlier in his career, Daniel directed revenue management at Archstone, Trump Entertainment Resorts, and Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, overseeing large property portfolios and complex pricing strategies. He began his professional journey in aviation finance and operations with Northwest and Mesaba Airlines, where he managed multimillion-dollar budgets and developed revenue forecasting models. Known for blending analytical rigor with strategic vision, Daniel has consistently delivered measurable growth and innovation across diverse industries.
